Remigijus Kriukas is an internationally renowned artist, recognized for his exceptional talent in glass shaping and his contribution to the development of contemporary art. Born on March 14, 1961, in Panevezys, Lithuania, Kriukas has dedicated his life to exploring the infinite possibilities offered by glass, transforming this fragile material into an expressive art form.
In 1985, Kriukas graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in glass art. His professional experience began at JSC “Panevezo stiklas,” where he worked as a designer in a glass workshop, refining his techniques and style. In 2000, he founded his own design studio in Panevezys, where he creates unique works that combine tradition and innovation.
Remigijus Kriukas is globally appreciated, actively participating in exhibitions and symposiums across Europe, the USA, and Asia. His works are found in prestigious museum collections, such as the Glass Museum in Frauenau (Germany), the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest (Hungary), and the Finnish Glass Museum (Riihimaki, Finland).
