At first glance, the Triu objects appear to be interconnected metal tubes, but in fact, the three thin U-shaped arms are made of borosilicate. Borosilicate is a type of glass composed of silica and boron trioxide. This material is known for its very low thermal expansion coefficient, making it more resistant to thermal shock than any other ordinary glass.
