For this fine porcelain collection developed by Vista Alegre, Christian Lacroix envisioned a decoration of lush tropical exuberance. Flowers, feathers, ferns, and dragonflies unfold in a baroque herbarium inspired style, set against pristine white porcelain enriched with delicate cutouts and trims. These refined details evoke the elegance of English embroidery found on the immaculate petticoats once worn by the beautiful women of Salvador de Bahia. Vibrant yet sophisticated, Caribe captures a dialogue between nature, craftsmanship, and haute couture, transforming the table into an expressive and exotic setting.
The collection was awarded an honorable mention by the German Design Award 2016.
