Care Instructions
Vista Alegre flatware is crafted from premium materials, requiring proper care to maintain pristine condition over the years.
- After each use, remove food residues promptly to prevent prolonged contact with the flatware.
- For handwashing, use hot water, neutral detergent, and a soft sponge or cloth.
- Avoid abrasive detergents when washing in the dishwasher.
- Place flatware in the dishwasher basket with handles facing down. Separate knives from other utensils.
- Do not allow Vista Alegre flatware to come into contact with other metal items during washing.
- Dry knife blades immediately after washing, as their sharpness makes them more prone to oxidation.
- To restore shine or remove stains, gently polish with a soft cloth and a few drops of lemon juice.
- Store flatware in a dry area.
24k Gold-Plated Flatware
- Dishwasher cleaning is recommended, with temperatures below 140 ºF (60 ºC).
- Use detergents with a phosphate content of no more than 10%.
- If washing by hand, use hot water, neutral detergent, and dry gently with a soft cloth.
- Avoid applying pressure to the gold-plated surfaces.
PVD-Coated Flatware
- Handwashing is preferred to maintain a lasting shine.
- PVD-coated flatware can also be washed in the dishwasher at temperatures not exceeding 140 ºF (60 ºC) with neutral detergents.
