Dinner plate, 11.4 inches, Ice by Denis Guidone - ICHENDORF

Denis Guidone is an internationally recognized designer known for his distinct style, which combines cultural and aesthetic influences from Tokyo and Milan, the cities between which he divides his life. With a background that blends architecture, industrial design, and a deep artistic sensitivity, Denis Guidone is renowned for his innovative and minimalist approaches.

Denis Guidone has collaborated with world-renowned brands, including Fontana Arte, Roche Bobois, Nava Design, Serax, Shuji Nakagawa, Magis, Ligne Roset, Bolia, and Mingardo, creating objects that merge functionality with refined aesthetics. His projects reflect a fusion of Japanese design simplicity and Italian elegance, making him a significant name in the contemporary design scene.

Created from the collaboration between Denis Guidone and Ichendorf, the collection Ice is an elegant expression of contemporary design, inspired by the natural texture of ice. Made through a sophisticated glass centrifugation process, the pieces in this collection impress with their textured surface, creating a unique visual effect and a distinct tactile sensation.

The Ice dinner plate is not only practical but also a true piece of art for those passionate about aesthetics and good taste.

Each piece in the Ice collection is characterized by robust yet refined shapes, with slightly irregular edges that give an organic and authentic appearance. This special glass processing technique allows for the creation of durable and sophisticated pieces, suitable for both everyday use and special occasions.

Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended.
For dishwasher cleaning, low temperatures (max. 40°) are recommended.

ICHENDORF

Today, just as 100 years ago, Ichendorf's goal is the pursuit of beauty with authentic forms.

The history of Ichendorf began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne, called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a mixture of substances to shape objects capable of meeting the refined tastes of that period. The endless search for new, popular, and exclusive appearances leads to the creation of objects with modern design. In 1990, the Ichendorf style center was established in Milan, a creative convergence point for artists and designers.

The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass. The new collections are created by combining tradition and innovation, presenting objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, and brilliance, finding a very fitting place in every space.
