Espresso cup and saucer, Amazonia - VISTA ALEGRE
Inspired by the book Viagens Philosophicas (Philosophical Travels) by naturalist Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira, as well as the fauna, flora, and people of the Amazon, this collection was developed in partnership with Ecoarts Amazonia, bringing together for the first time all the brands of the group: VISTA ALEGRE, Casa Alegre, and Bordallo Pinheiro. Featuring a diversity of over 70 pieces made from porcelain, glass, and crystal, a portion of the proceeds from this collection will be redirected towards reforestation of the Mato Grosso area in the Amazon. This will be achieved by planting fruit trees that will contribute to the conservation of an ecological, cultural, social, and scientific heritage essential for the future of humanity.
The Amazonia collection was the winner of the European Product Design Award - Silver prize, the Good Design Award, and the German Design Award 2020.
The coffee set contains two pieces: a coffee cup and a saucer. These are made in Portugal from high-quality porcelain, combining new mechanical decoration techniques with the expertise of masters in processing this material. The contemporary design, crafted with mastery and passion, pairs nature-inspired colors with modern gold accents. The coffee cup and saucer set adds elegant notes to the kitchen and transforms coffee drinking into a true experience.
