Espresso cup and saucer, Piuma by Marco Sironi - ICHENDORF
Marco Sironi is an architect with experience in the construction industry, yacht design, glass design, and furniture. Each of his objects, besides functionality and formal values, must match the materials and production processes.
The Piuma collection features a minimalist yet sophisticated design. Thanks to its transparency, each piece creates a charming visual effect when filled.
The espresso cup and saucer set adds an extra touch of flavor to your breakfast coffee.
The Marine Garden glass pieces add a surprising touch to every meal. They are handcrafted from borosilicate glass - the transparency and lightness of this material lend elegance.
Thanks to special craftsmanship, Ichendorf pieces withstand temperature fluctuations and have a low expansion coefficient, ensuring longevity and durability.
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended (do not use a steel wool sponge). For manual washing and drying, proper handling of the cups by holding the bowl is necessary.
For dishwasher cleaning, low temperatures (max. 104 °F) are recommended.
Ichendorf
Today, just as 100 years ago, Ichendorf's goal is the pursuit of beauty with authentic forms.
Ichendorf's history began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne, called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a mixture of substances to shape objects capable of meeting the refined tastes of that era. The endless quest for new, popular, and exclusive appearances leads to the creation of objects with modern design. In 1990, the Ichendorf style center was established in Milan, a creative convergence point for artists and designers.
The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass. The new collections are created by blending tradition and innovation, presenting objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, brilliance, and find a very fitting place in every space.
