Care Instructions:

The VISTA ALEGRE flatware is produced with the highest quality materials. To maintain its original condition over the years, proper care for each material is essential.

• After each use, remove food residues to avoid prolonged contact with the flatware;
  
• When washing flatware by hand, use hot water, a neutral detergent, and a soft sponge or cloth;
  
• When cleaning flatware in the dishwasher, avoid using abrasive detergents;
• Place the flatware in the cutlery basket with the handles facing down. Separate knives from the rest of the flatware;
  
• When washing VISTA ALEGRE flatware, do not allow it to come into contact with other metal objects;
  
• Take special care with the blades of the knives. Due to their sharpness, knife blades are particularly sensitive to oxidation. For this reason, dry the knife blades after washing;
  
• To restore the original shine and eliminate stains caused by improper washing, you can use a soft cloth with a few drops of lemon juice;
  
• Try to store the flatware in a dry place
  

24k gold-plated flatware:

• Preferably, wash VISTA ALEGRE 24-karat gold-plated flatware in the dishwasher.
• Follow the instructions above. Set the dishwasher to a temperature below 140 ºF.
• Use a detergent with a phosphate content of no more than 10%;
• If you choose to wash by hand, use hot water, a neutral detergent, and a soft cloth for drying.
• Do not apply pressure to the flatware.

PVD-coated flatware:

• Although hand washing is recommended to always ensure a shiny finish, it is also possible to clean PVD-coated flatware in the dishwasher at temperatures not exceeding 140 ºF and using neutral detergents.
