Glass Bowl, 4.3 inches, Ice by Denis Guidone - _ICHENDORF_

Denis Guidone is an internationally recognized designer known for his distinct style, which blends cultural and aesthetic influences from Tokyo and Milan, the cities between which he divides his life. With a background that combines architecture, industrial design, and a profound artistic sensitivity, Denis Guidone is celebrated for his innovative and minimalist approaches.

Denis Guidone has collaborated with world-renowned brands, including Fontana Arte, Roche Bobois, Nava Design, Serax, Shuji Nakagawa, Magis, Ligne Roset, Bolia, and Mingardo, creating objects that seamlessly combine functionality with refined aesthetics. His projects reflect a fusion of the simplicity of Japanese design and Italian elegance, establishing him as a significant name in the contemporary design scene.

Created through a collaboration between Denis Guidone and Ichendorf, the collection Ice is an elegant expression of contemporary design, inspired by the natural texture of ice. Crafted through a sophisticated glass centrifugation process, the pieces in this collection impress with their textured surface, creating a unique visual effect and a distinct tactile sensation.

The Ice bowl is not only practical but also a true work of art for enthusiasts of aesthetics and good taste.

Each piece in the Ice collection is characterized by robust yet refined shapes, featuring slightly irregular edges that lend an organic and authentic appearance. This special glass processing technique allows for the creation of durable and sophisticated pieces, suitable for both everyday use and special occasions.

Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended.
For dishwasher cleaning, low temperatures (max. 104°F) are advised.

Ichendorf

Today, just as it was 100 years ago, the mission of Ichendorf is the pursuit of beauty through authentic forms.

The history of Ichendorf began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a blend of materials to shape objects that catered to the refined tastes of that era. The endless quest for new, popular, and exclusive appearances leads to the creation of modern design objects. In 1990, the Ichendorf style center was established in Milan, becoming a creative convergence point for artists and designers.

The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass. The new collections are crafted through a blend of tradition and innovation, presenting objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, and brilliance, finding a very suitable place in every space.
