Glass mug, Blue Flower, Botanica by Alessandra Baldereschi - ICHENDORF

Milanese Alessandra Baldereschi studied industrial design at the Domus Academy. The artist collaborates with various brands that implement design for lighting, decor, and furniture. Among her famous exhibitions are: Triennale di Milano, Biennale Saint Etienne, Inside Design Amsterdam, Seoul Design Festival, and Moss Gallery, New York.

Created from the collaboration between Alessandra Baldereschi and Ichendorf, the Botanica collection is inspired by the world of plants and flowers, in various colors, attached in different forms to the glass pieces.

The transparent mug features a surprising handle depicting a branch with blue flowers. It creates a charming visual effect when filled with lemonade, natural juices, or other beverages.

The Botanica glass pieces add a surprising touch to every table. They are handcrafted from borosilicate glass - the transparency and lightness of this material confer elegance.

Thanks to special craftsmanship, Ichendorf pieces withstand temperature fluctuations and have a low expansion coefficient, ensuring longevity and durability.

Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended (do not use a steel wool sponge). For manual washing and drying, proper handling of the mug is necessary, holding it by the cup. It is important to avoid twisting the stem of the glass.
For dishwasher cleaning, low temperatures are recommended (max. 40°).

ICHENDORF

Today, just as 100 years ago, Ichendorf's goal is the pursuit of beauty with authentic forms.

Ichendorf's history began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne, called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a mixture of substances to shape objects capable of meeting the refined tastes of that era.

The endless search for new, popular, and exclusive appearances leads to the creation of objects with modern design. In 1990, the Ichendorf style center was established in Milan, a creative convergence point for artists and designers.

The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass.

The new collections are created by blending tradition and innovation and feature objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, brilliance, and find a very fitting place in every space.
