Glass mug, blue-green seahorse, Marine Garden by Alessandra Baldereschi - ICHENDORF

Milanese designer Alessandra Baldereschi studied industrial design at the Domus Academy. The artist collaborates with various brands that implement design for lighting, decor, and furniture. Among her renowned exhibitions are: Triennale di Milano, Biennale Saint Etienne, Inside Design Amsterdam, Seoul Design Festival, and Moss Gallery, New York.

Created from the collaboration between Alessandra Baldereschi and Ichendorf, the Marine Garden collection is inspired by marine fauna and flora. It is characterized by colorful glass aquatic animals and plants, placed inside or on the surface of objects, with playful shapes. Each piece in the Marine Garden collection is unique and is ideal for bringing joy to the table on every occasion.

The glass mug features a decorative handle in the shape of a blue seahorse with a green fin. The mug is suitable for serving tea, hot chocolate, café au lait, or various other hot beverages.

Marine Garden glass pieces add a surprising touch to every meal. They are handcrafted from borosilicate glass - the transparency and lightness of this material confer elegance.

Thanks to special craftsmanship, Ichendorf pieces withstand temperature fluctuations and have a low expansion coefficient, ensuring longevity and durability.
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended (do not use a steel wool sponge). For manual washing and drying, proper handling of the mugs is necessary, holding them by the cup.
For dishwasher cleaning, low temperatures are recommended (max. 104°F).

Ichendorf

Today, just as 100 years ago, Ichendorf's goal is the pursuit of beauty with authentic forms.

The history of Ichendorf began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne, called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a mixture of substances to shape objects capable of meeting the refined tastes of that era. The endless quest for new, popular, and exclusive appearances leads to the creation of objects with modern design. In 1990, the Ichendorf style center was established in Milan, a creative convergence point for artists and designers.

The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass. The new collections are created by combining tradition and innovation, featuring objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, and brilliance, finding a very fitting place in every space.
