Glass teapot, clear/white, Tea by Marta Sansoni - ICHENDORF

Marta Sansoni is an architect, interior designer, and designer of Florentine origin.

In 1991, her project "A building for worship" was selected by the Design Department for the International Architecture Exhibition in Paris, later presented at the Architecture Salon in Milan and, in 1992, at the Milan Triennale. Between 1990 and 1996, she coordinated seminars at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Florence, contributing to courses in Furniture and Interior Architecture.

Her professional work spans architecture and interior design projects for private residences, public spaces, and installations, both in Italy and internationally. Her style is characterized by a combination of geometric abstraction, rigor, spatial play, and attention to detail, integrated into a monochrome palette. The harmonious relationship between light, objects, and space is a defining element of her work, reflecting a distinct visual identity. Numerous interior design projects by Marta Sansoni have been featured in international publications and magazines.

Created from the collaboration between Marta Sansoni and Ichendorf, the collection Tea represents a harmonious fusion of minimalist aesthetics and functional refinement. Made from borosilicate glass, the pieces in this collection are characterized by pure transparency, fluid lines, and meticulous attention to detail.

The innovative design of the Tea collection transforms tea-drinking moments into a true visual and sensory ritual. Each piece impresses with its balanced geometric shapes, sculptural handles, and integrated infusers, ensuring both a practical and aesthetic user experience.

Thanks to special craftsmanship, Ichendorf pieces withstand temperature fluctuations and have a low expansion coefficient, ensuring longevity and durability.

Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended (do not use a stainless steel sponge).
For dishwasher cleaning, low temperatures are recommended (max. 104°F).

ICHENDORF

Today, just as 100 years ago, Ichendorf's goal is the pursuit of beauty with authentic forms.

The history of Ichendorf began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne, called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a mixture of substances to shape objects capable of meeting the refined tastes of that era. The endless search for new, popular, and exclusive appearances leads to the creation of objects with modern design. In 1990, the Ichendorf style center was established in Milan, a creative convergence point for artists and designers.

The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass. The new collections are created by blending tradition and innovation and feature objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, and brilliance, finding a very fitting place in every space.
