Kokeshi lamp, cream, by Robert Schnyder - LLADRO
Lladro tells the story of the passion for porcelain of the brothers Juan, Jose, and Vicente Lladro, artists who have turned porcelain into a way of life. They have demonstrated their skill and mastery in processing materials by creating complex and dynamic pieces for contemporary and exclusive lifestyles where design plays an important role. The sculptures, figurines, and statuettes created by the renowned brand are hand-painted with passion and attention to detail.
Designed by Robert Schnyder, the Kokeshi collection reinterprets the simple traditional Japanese dolls into a version of cordless porcelain lamps. Originating from the Tohoku region in northern Japan, today these traditional dolls have replaced carved wood with handcrafted porcelain to become a functional and decorative lighting object.
The lamps are made from glazed porcelain decorated in a combination of pastel tones and glossy gold details. The lampshade is made of translucent matte white porcelain, and the touch dimmer for adjusting light intensity is made of metal engraved with the Lladro brand logo.
The Kokeshi table lamp can decorate the bedroom, living room, or office, adding sophisticated notes to any space. Placed on a nightstand, dresser, vanity, desk, or any other piece of furniture, the cream lamp perfectly complements a charming decor.
