Milanese designer Alessandra Baldereschi studied industrial design at the Domus Academy. The artist collaborates with various brands that implement design for lighting, decor, and furniture. Among her renowned exhibitions are: Triennale di Milano, Biennale Saint Etienne, Inside Design Amsterdam, Seoul Design Festival, and Moss Gallery, New York.
Tender Ties is a poetic collection by Ichendorf Milano, in collaboration with the talented designer Alessandra Baldereschi, which highlights the pure and authentic emotion of family ties in the animal world. Each piece is adorned with delicate animal figures, carefully stylized, captured in moments of affection, care, and mutual belonging.
Inspired by the tenderness of family bonds—mother and offspring, pairs protecting each other, or united communities—the collection celebrates the natural world as a living metaphor for human relationships. Hand-blown borosilicate glass provides the perfect setting for these small scenes that evoke both the fragility and strength of familial love.

ICHENDORF
Today, just as 100 years ago, Ichendorf's goal is the pursuit of beauty with authentic forms.
The history of Ichendorf began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne, called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a mixture of substances to shape objects capable of meeting the refined tastes of that era. The endless quest for new, popular, and exclusive appearances leads to the creation of objects with modern design. In 1990, the Ichendorf style center was established in Milan, a creative convergence point for artists and designers.
The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass. The new collections are created by blending tradition and innovation and feature objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, brilliance, and find a very fitting place in every space.
