Crafted from fine porcelain, the glasses feature a gold-plated interior and an exterior adorned with colorful designs of elephants, tigers, polar bears, blue whales, and octopuses. These five animal species are found in different regions of the Earth, representing both the beauty and vulnerability of nature. Poaching threatens the conservation of these animal species, as does the limited growth of their habitats and the pollution of the world's oceans.
The polar bear can also be seen as a symbol of climate change, as it is significantly endangered by rising air and water temperatures.
With this collection, Sieger by Furstenberg aims to convey an important message: wild animals living in their natural habitats are on the brink of extinction and need our protection. Therefore, a portion of the proceeds from this collection will be donated to the wildlife rescue organization National Park Rescue.
