After working as a designer at the Mariinsky Opera and Ballet Theater in Saint Petersburg and inspired by her grandmother Mara Dolinskaia - a former ballet dancer of the theater, Katya Gerasimova Bosky created, in collaboration with VISTA ALEGRE, the Mariinsky porcelain collection. This was created to honor the stars of classical dance from the 1920s.
In this collection, Katya presents the picturesque features, the extravagant wardrobe of that era, and the roses of the stage from Tchaikovsky's "The Queen of Spades," among other stylized elements that transport us to a universe full of life, color, and creativity.
The collection was awarded the honor prize by the German Design Award 2019.
The stylistic concept that combines vibrant colors with sophisticated form allows the Trinity vase to be used in both monochrome design spaces and for creating a multicolored decor. The applied gold accents offer elegant notes to the porcelain vase.
