About the brand:
MAX BENJAMIN is owned by siblings Orla, Mark, and David Van den Bergh from Enniskerry, County Wicklow. Named after Orla's twins, Max and Ben, the company began producing handmade natural candles in the '90s.
The unique fragrance collections of MAX BENJAMIN are appreciated worldwide for their contemporary design, craftsmanship, and use of natural ingredients. Today, the Van den Bergh family continues to take people on a journey of exploration and expression through fragrances.
Orla Van den Bergh, the founder of the company, learned how to make candles in America, where she discovered the complexity of creating high-quality candles. The skill of blending different types of wax and essential oils came naturally to Orla, and she continues to use this talent today.
Upon returning to Ireland, Orla brought back the secrets she discovered, using them to produce refined candles that became more popular than she could have ever imagined. And so began the story of MAX BENJAMIN.
