The figurines created by the renowned brand are hand-painted with passion and attention to detail.
The porcelain sculpture created in collaboration with Nigerian artist Laolu Senbanjo is a conceptual creation that bears the distinctive mark of an engaged and innovative artist. This piece of art harmoniously combines white porcelain with black and glossy gold ornamentation, resulting in a unique collaboration between Lladro and Senbanjo, a visual artist, musician, human rights advocate, and activist from Brooklyn with Nigerian roots.
The sculpture's design reflects Senbanjo's personal graphic language, bringing influences from the Yoruba culture of Nigeria, reinterpreted through a contemporary approach. This fusion of tradition and modernity gives the piece a unique character and profound cultural significance.
