Set of 4 coasters, Amazonia - VISTA ALEGRE
Inspired by the book Viagens Philosophicas (Philosophical Travels) by naturalist Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira, as well as the fauna, flora, and people of the Amazon, this collection was developed in partnership with Ecoarts Amazonia, bringing together for the first time all the brands of the group: VISTA ALEGRE, Casa Alegre, and Bordallo Pinheiro.
Featuring a diversity of over 70 pieces made from porcelain, glass, and crystal, a portion of the proceeds from this collection will be directed towards reforestation of the Mato Grosso area in the Amazon. This will be achieved by planting fruit trees that will contribute to the conservation of an ecological, cultural, social, and scientific heritage essential for the future of humanity.
The Amazonia collection was the winner of the European Product Design Award - Silver prize, the Good Design Award, and the German Design Award 2020.
Made from porcelain, the coasters feature a contemporary design that blends vibrant green hues inspired by elements of nature with refined gold accents. They serve to protect furniture when placing a glass or bottle. Additionally, the Amazonia porcelain coasters have a decorative role. Placed on the table, the coasters complete a decor full of charm and vitality.
