Soup Bowl, Amazonia - VISTA ALEGRE
Inspired by Viagens Philosophicas (Philosophical Travels) by naturalist Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira, and the rich fauna, flora, and people of the Amazon, the Amazonia Collection was developed in partnership with Ecoarts Amazônia. This collaboration is the first to unite all brands of the group: Vista Alegre, Casa Alegre, and Bordallo Pinheiro.
The collection features over 70 exquisite pieces crafted from porcelain, glass, and crystal. A portion of the proceeds supports reforestation efforts in the Mato Grosso region of the Amazon through the planting of fruit trees, helping to preserve an ecological, cultural, social, and scientific heritage vital to humanity’s future.
The Amazonia Collection has received the European Product Design Award – Silver, the Good Design Award, and the German Design Award 2020.
