Square porcelain tray, Amazonia - VISTA ALEGRE
Inspired by the book Viagens Philosophicas (Philosophical Journeys) by naturalist Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira, as well as the fauna, flora, and people of the Amazon, this collection was developed in partnership with Ecoarts Amazonia, bringing together for the first time all the brands of the group: VISTA ALEGRE, Casa Alegre, and Bordallo Pinheiro.
Featuring a diversity of over 70 pieces made from porcelain, glass, and crystal, a portion of the proceeds from this collection will be directed towards reforestation of the Mato Grosso area in the Amazon. This will be achieved by planting fruit trees that will contribute to the conservation of an ecological, cultural, social, and scientific heritage essential for the future of humanity.
The Amazonia collection was the winner of the European Product Design Award - Silver prize, the Good Design Award, and the German Design Award 2020.
The square tray boasts a contemporary design that combines vibrant colors inspired by Amazonian fauna and flora with a refined gold hue framing the platter on all four sides. The porcelain tray can serve a decorative role, placed on a shelf in the living room. At the same time, it has a functional component - it is very useful for serving dessert in an elegant manner.
