Usage instructions:

The VISTA ALEGRE cutlery is made with the highest quality materials. To maintain their original condition over the years, they require appropriate care for each material.

• After each use, remove food residues to avoid prolonged contact with the cutlery;
  
• When washing cutlery by hand, use hot water, a neutral detergent, and a soft sponge or cloth;
  
• When cleaning cutlery in the dishwasher, avoid using abrasive detergents;
• Place the cutlery in the cutlery basket with handles down. Separate knives from the rest of the cutlery;
  
• When washing the VISTA ALEGRE cutlery, do not let them come into contact with other metal objects;
  
• Take special care with knife blades. Due to their sharpness, knife blades are particularly sensitive to oxidation. For this reason, dry the knife blades after washing;
  
• To restore the initial shine and remove stains caused by improper washing, you can use a soft cloth with a few drops of lemon juice;
  
• Try to store the cutlery in a dry place.
  

24k Gold-Plated Cutlery:

• Preferably, wash the 24k gold-plated VISTA ALEGRE cutlery in the dishwasher.
• Follow the instructions above. Set the dishwasher to a temperature below 140 ºF.
• Use a detergent with a phosphate content of no more than 10%;
• If you choose hand washing, use hot water, a neutral detergent, and a soft cloth for drying.
• Do not apply pressure to the cutlery.

PVD Coated Cutlery:

• Although hand washing is recommended to always ensure a shiny finish, it is also possible to clean PVD coated cutlery in the dishwasher at temperatures not exceeding 140 ºF and using neutral detergents.
