Alessandra Baldereschi, a Milanese designer, studied industrial design at the Domus Academy. The artist collaborates with various brands that implement design for lighting, decor, and furniture. Among her renowned exhibitions are: Triennale di Milano, Biennale Saint Etienne, Inside Design Amsterdam, Seoul Design Festival, and Moss Gallery, New York.

Created through the collaboration between Alessandra Baldereschi and _Ichendorf_, the Garden Picnic collection is inspired by elements of summer nature. It features delicate glass insects, positioned either inside or on the surface of the pieces, taking on whimsical shapes. Each item in the Garden Picnic collection is unique and perfect for bringing joy to the table on every occasion.

The transparent glass is adorned with two ladybugs, attached to the clear cup of the glass, creating the illusion that they are floating. They create a charming visual impact when the glass is filled with water, lemonade, or natural juices.

The pieces from the Garden Picnic collection add a surprising touch to every table setting. They are handcrafted from borosilicate glass—its transparency and lightness confer elegance.

Thanks to a special manufacturing process, _Ichendorf_ pieces withstand temperature fluctuations and have a low thermal expansion coefficient, ensuring longevity and durability.
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended (do not use stainless steel sponges).
For dishwasher cleaning, low temperatures (max. 104°F) are recommended.

The history of _Ichendorf_ began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a blend of materials to shape objects that catered to the refined tastes of that era. The endless quest for new, popular, and exclusive designs leads to the creation of modern design objects. In 1990, the _Ichendorf_ style center was established in Milan, becoming a creative convergence point for artists and designers.

The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass. The new collections are crafted by blending tradition and innovation, showcasing objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, and brilliance, finding a perfect place in every space.
