Margherita Rui is a designer and creative director for several Italian interior design brands. After studying Design at Politecnico di Milano and Fabrica, the research center of the Benetton group, Margherita became the creative director at HDG, coordinating creative teams in cities such as Venice, Milan, and New York. In 2009, she founded Dogtrot with Alessandro Rado, a strategic consulting and creative direction studio. This multidisciplinary entity operates at the intersection of design and communication, reflecting Margherita's innovative vision and passion for contemporary aesthetic and strategic solutions.

Created from the collaboration between Margherita Rui and Ichendorf, the Gesti collection celebrates the beauty of imperfection through a subtle harmony of graphic motifs and a color palette inspired by the vibrant landscapes of the Mediterranean. Gesti combines refined design with artistic expressiveness, redefining contemporary elegance in glass art. The pieces in the collection stand out with their unique patterns and bold colors, transforming them into true works of modern art placed on the table.

The glassware is suitable for serving water, natural juices, lemonade, and other types of beverages.

The Gesti glass pieces add an elegant touch to every table. They are handcrafted from borosilicate glass - the transparency and lightness of this material confer elegance.

Thanks to special craftsmanship, Ichendorf pieces withstand temperature fluctuations and have a low expansion coefficient, ensuring longevity and durability.

Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended (do not use a steel sponge).
For dishwasher cleaning, low temperatures are recommended (max. 104°F).

ICHENDORF

Today, just as 100 years ago, Ichendorf's goal is the pursuit of beauty with authentic forms.

The history of Ichendorf began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne, called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a mixture of substances to shape objects capable of meeting the refined tastes of that era. The endless search for new, popular, and exclusive appearances leads to the creation of objects with modern design. In 1990, the Ichendorf style center was established in Milan, a creative convergence point for artists and designers.

The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass. The new collections are created by blending tradition and innovation, presenting objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, brilliance, and find a very suitable place in every space.
