Water glass, 5.12 inches, turtle, Animal Farm by Alessandra Baldereschi - ICHENDORF

Milanese designer Alessandra Baldereschi studied industrial design at the Domus Academy. The artist collaborates with various brands that implement design for lighting, decor, and furniture. Her renowned exhibitions include: Triennale di Milano, Biennale Saint Etienne, Inside Design Amsterdam, Seoul Design Festival, and Moss Gallery, New York.

Created from the collaboration between Alessandra Baldereschi and Ichendorf, the Animal Farm collection is inspired by forest nature. It is characterized by small colored glass animals, placed inside or on the surface of objects, with playful shapes. Each piece in the Animal Farm collection is unique and is ideal for bringing joy to the table on every occasion.

The transparent glass is accessorized with a turtle, attached to the transparent cup of the glass, creating the sensation that it is floating. This creates a charming visual impact when the glass is filled with water, lemonade, or natural juices.

Animal Farm glass pieces offer a surprising touch to every meal. They are handcrafted from borosilicate glass - the transparency and lightness of this material confer elegance.

Thanks to special craftsmanship, Ichendorf pieces withstand temperature fluctuations and have a low expansion coefficient, ensuring longevity and durability.
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended (do not use a steel wool sponge).
For dishwasher cleaning, low temperatures are recommended (max. 104°F).

Ichendorf

Today, just as 100 years ago, Ichendorf's goal is the pursuit of beauty with authentic forms.

The history of Ichendorf began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne, called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a mixture of substances to shape objects that catered to the refined tastes of that era. The endless quest for new, popular, and exclusive appearances leads to the creation of objects with modern design. In 1990, the Ichendorf style center was established in Milan, a creative convergence point for artists and designers.

The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass. The new collections are created by blending tradition and innovation, presenting objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, and brilliance, finding a very fitting place in every space.
