Wine glass, 5.4 inches, Rivoli by Mario Trimarchi - ICHENDORF

Mario Trimarchi is deeply passionate about drawing. He designs to understand the poetic soul of objects. The artist has worked for Olivetti Design Studio, led the Master's in Design at Domus Academy, and then founded FRAGILE, a corporate identity studio. The designer won the Compasso d'Oro with the Ossidiana coffee maker for Alessi. Mario Trimarchi is an iconic figure in contemporary design, a creator who blends aesthetic functionality and poetry, influencing both the world of product design and visual identity.

The Rivoli collection studies the gracious gesture of pouring water; the carafe, with the small glass placed on top, invites you to pour with a careful and measured motion, ensuring not a single drop is lost. The slow and precise movement when tilting the carafe is elegant and gently accompanies the pouring of the liquid.

Rivoli is a gesture of gratitude for the gift of water, reminiscent of the monk's gesture of cupping his hands to offer a child a refreshing sip.

Wine is one of the favorite beverages that is never missing from any event. An appropriate glass is essential to truly savor the taste of this drink. The Rivoli wine glass is suitable for setting a memorable festive table.

The Rivoli glass pieces add a surprising touch to every table. They are handcrafted from borosilicate glass - the transparency and lightness of this material confer elegance.

Thanks to special craftsmanship, Ichendorf pieces withstand temperature fluctuations and have a low expansion coefficient, ensuring longevity and durability.

Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended (do not use a stainless steel sponge).
For dishwasher cleaning, low temperatures are recommended (max. 104°F).

ICHENDORF

Today, just as 100 years ago, Ichendorf's goal is the pursuit of beauty with authentic forms.

The history of Ichendorf began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne, called Quadrath-Ichendorf. There, many master glassmakers used a mixture of substances to shape objects capable of meeting the refined tastes of that era. The endless quest for new, popular, and exclusive appearances leads to the creation of objects with modern design. In 1990, the Ichendorf style center was established in Milan, a creative convergence point for artists and designers.

The materials used range from ceramics, introduced in 2019, to traditional glass, crystal, and borosilicate glass. The new collections are created by blending tradition and innovation, presenting objects that enter homes with delicacy, elegance, and brilliance, finding a very fitting place in every space.
